臺灣四面環海,幾乎所有縣市都面臨海岸,海洋教育對臺灣學校教育而言,日形重要,不僅列入十二年課綱19項議題之一,也成為未來培養學生海洋素養的重要依據,隨著十二年課綱的實施,學校也紛紛把海洋教育列為學校願景與校訂課程重點,然而,海洋教育在過去學校教育的空白課程成為學校正式課程之一,那麼,學校該如何因應?本研究分別就臺東與屏東選取兩所個案學校推動海洋教育課程進行比較,運用訪談、觀察與文件等方式,蒐集、比較並分析兩所個案海洋教育的推動緣由、困境與因應策略,希望透過本研究,提供其他學校推動海洋教育的參考。

英文摘要

Taiwan is surrounded by ocean and nearly all counties have coast lines. Therefore, marine education has become more and more important for the school education of Taiwan. It has not only been listed as one of the 19 agendas in the 12-year Basic Education Curriculum Guidelines, but also a major foundation for training the students’ ocean literacy in the future. With the implementation of the 12-year Basic Education Curriculum Guidelines, schools have listed marine education as part of their vision and an emphasis of the school-based curriculum. However, given that marine education has been transformed from null curriculum to one of the official curriculum items in schools, how do they cope with such transformation? This research selected one school each from Taitung and Pingtung counties and carried out comparison analysis on the marine experimental education curriculum of both schools. Through methods such as interviews, observation, and document analysis, this research collected, compared, and analyzed the origin, difficulty, and responsive strategy on practicing marine education. This research expected that through such observation, it could serve as a reference for other schools when practicing marine education.
