古代的注釋家和現當代學者們對亞里斯多德在《論靈魂》第三卷第5章中所說的“νοῦς ποιητικός”（主動理智）歷來頗有爭論，其爭論的焦點就是，這裡所說的主動理智究竟是亞里斯多德在《形而上學》第十二卷中所說的神的理智或第一推動者，還是就是屬於個體的理性靈魂的一種能力？這就是有名的屬神派解釋與屬人派解釋傳統之間的爭論。本文通過對《論靈魂》和《形而上學》中的核心文本的分析試圖完成以下三個任務：（1）反駁屬神派的解釋傳統；（2）證明人性的解釋傳統更為可取；（3）揭示主動理智在人的認識活動中的光照作用或功能。

Both the ancient commentators and the modern scholars show strong disagreements in the question of how to interpret the so-called “νοῦς ποιητικός” (productive or agent intellect) proposed by Aristotle in the De anima III 5. The debates focus on the problem of how to identify the agent intellect, whether it is identified with the Intellect of God or the unmoved mover, or it is just a power of the individual intellective soul. This is the famous controversy between the tradition of the divine interpretation and that of the human interpretation. Through analyzing the central texts of De anima III 5 and Metaphysics XII in question, this article tries to deal with the following three tasks: (1) rebutting the divine interpretation, (2) proving the plausibility and appropriateness of the human interpretation, (3) revealing the function or activity of the agent intellect in the individual epistemic process.
