Performing arts represent the ultimate manifestation of diverse characteristics in an interdisciplinary creative process. This article establishes an integrated narrative platform based on Hans-Georg Gadamer's concept of 'fusion of horizons' within the context of mutual subjectivity. It transforms creative elements from various fields into a common language, achieving shared meaning. In the process of creating performing arts, the interaction between different disciplines, theories, and media is examined to explore the possibilities of this argument. Through interviews with creators, this study investigates the differences in participants' pre-understanding backgrounds. During the collective process of understanding texts, it breaks down barriers between different artistic disciplines, thereby sparking diversity and possibilities in interdisciplinary creation. This study explores the diversity and possibilities of interdisciplinary creation. Finally, it is concluded that there are five processes while conducting interdisciplinary works in performing arts: (1) planning and establishing rules for creation, (2) interpreting and incorporating texts into technical creation, (3) generating dialogue and exchange of ideas in a collective information field, (4) revising and layering ideas, (5) presentation and feedback. It is hoped that this could provide a theoretical and practical reference for performing arts engaging interdisciplinary creation.
