「藝術家」作為一份職業，過往至今仍有不少對於該職業的質疑、好奇，抑或存在刻板見解。每個時代、地域的藝術圈有著不同發展特性，藝術家如何持續創作並且生存於當世代，依據生活實景如何因應，是本研究期望呈現的部分。本研究以臺灣當代視覺藝術圈創作十年之藝術家為對象，探究當代視覺藝術家於臺灣藝術環境、市場的生存實況，藉由文獻回顧、深度訪談、個案研究與比對方式進行資料蒐集與分析，並提出歸納與分析。研究執行與八位不同創作媒材之藝術家進行訪談，呼應文獻歸整，提出當代視覺藝術家生存之現況及困境，包含身分解讀對生存的影響、生存韌性、副業狀況以及人際關係課題，最後提出相關研究建議，盼作為未來相關研究之參酌。

"Artist" as a profession, people still have had many doubts, curiosities, or stereotypes about it since past till today. In each era and region, art has different development in its characteristics. How artists continue to create and survive in their current generation, and how to respond to real life situations are the points that this research aims to present. This study focuses on artists who have been in Taiwan's visual art of contemporary field for about ten years, and explores the living conditions of contemporary visual artists in Taiwan's art environment and market. It collects and analyzes data through literature review, in-depth interviews, case studies, and case-control comparisons, and puts forward induction and analysis. The research carried out interviews with eight artists with different visual arts creative media, echoed the literature review, raised the current situation and dilemma of contemporary artists, such as economic issue or interpersonal relationships. Therefore, it puts forward relevant research suggestions, hoping to serve as a reference for future related research.
