教宗方濟各在其思想中不斷提倡，我們必須重建一種新的經濟制度，不僅為了解決貧窮的問題，也為了還給人應該要有的尊嚴，到底方濟各教宗思想中所謂以人性尊嚴為前提的經濟是什麼？在我們現代社會是否有可能落實？它與現行的經濟體制又有何差異？本文首先將藉由經濟學者凱特．拉沃斯（Kate Raworth）甜甜圈理論和教宗方濟各思想對話，指出人性如何在當代經濟主流思想中被扭曲，以及該如何將人性重新放入新的經濟思維中。說明人性如何被扭曲與如何重建後，本文將藉由于斌樞機引進儲蓄互助社（Credit Union）的理念與發展來進一步說明人性尊嚴為前提的經濟可以如何落實於當代社會。

Pope Francis has constantly advocated in his thoughts that we must rebuild a new economic system, not only to solve the problem of poverty, but also to return the dignity that people should have. however, what is the economy based on the premise of human dignity? Is it possible to implement in modern society? What different from the current economic system? This article will use the thought in “Doughnut Economics” of Kate Raworth and the economic views of Pope Francis to point out how human dignity has been distorted in contemporary economic mainstream thinking, and how it can be rebuilt in new economic thinking. After that, this article will further explain how an economy based on human dignity can be implemented in contemporary society by introducing the concept and development of credit unions by Cardinal Paul Yu Pin.
