In 2020, the global COVID-19 pandemic forced churches to transition to online congregational activities for an extended period. Although in-person meetings gradually resumed after the pandemic eased, the attendance and enthusiasm remained challenging to attain pre-pandemic norms. Whether it was Sunday worship, small group meetings, or educational activities like Sunday school, most gatherings were either maintained or facing a decline. Ecclesiastical leaders, navigating the ecclesial landscape in the aftermath of the pandemic, find themselves predominantly entrenched in a phase of discernment and experimentation. The development of church educational ministries during this transitional period is experiencing overall negative impacts and presenting a unique opportunity at the same time. This research, through a qualitative study, explores how fourteen Chinese churches in the Americas and have navigated the unique post-Covid 19 conditions two years hence. It investigates how they continue to advance educational ministries within the church. The hope is that the research results can articulate specific directions and practices, providing valuable reference material for church leaders facing post-Covid 19 challenges and striving to continue their efforts in educational ministries within the church.
