面對當前日益迫切氣候變遷議題,多數國家已在巴黎協定後,更積極推動碳排放減量與碳吸收增量措施,並希望於2050年時達到淨零碳排。土壤碳匯是達成淨零碳排重要碳庫之一,對土壤碳匯採樣、計量、報告、監測與機制了解的教學,為現今土壤科學相關課程需要積極教授領域。「森林土壤學實驗」規劃台大安康農場作為增進教學實踐場域,藉由教案設計,模擬不同情境之土壤碳匯差異,讓學生親自採樣、分析、計量與評估,理解森林土壤碳匯機制與潛能,以及能夠提出以森林土壤碳匯減碳計畫之能力,進而達到人才培育目標。課程期末成果報告與教學問卷調查均顯示,加入台大安康農場土壤採樣與分析之增進教案中,不僅讓學生具備土壤樣品採樣與基本分析技能,也達到對土壤碳匯機制了解的提升。然而,此一學分基礎實驗課程學習成效仍不足以應付土壤碳匯專案報告撰寫,我們建議課程教授時,仍須多花一些時間適度引導學生反思學習成效,亦或鼓勵學生修習高階課程以滿足學習不足之處,讓學習過程從基礎擴展至實務問題解決,增加學習競爭力與就業力。

英文摘要

With the increasing climate change, most countries have actively promoted measures to reduce carbon emissions and increase carbon sink after the Paris Agreement, and hope to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Soil carbon sink is a vital carbon pool to achieve net-zero carbon emissions. Teaching soil carbon sampling, measuring, reporting, monitoring, and mechanism under soil carbon sink is a needed teaching field for relevant courses in schools today. The "Forest Soil Lab" course plans to use NTU Ankeng Farm as a teaching practice field for the course enhancement. Through the design of the teaching plan of the NTU Ankeng Farm, students can sample, analyze, measure, evaluate, and understand the mechanism and potential of forest carbon sink under different land use scenarios, thus being able to propose a carbon reduction plan and achieve the goal of talent cultivation. The final report and the course evaluation questionnaire at the end of the semester showed that the practices of NTU Ankeng Farm help students understand soil sampling, measurement, and carbon sink mechanisms. However, the learning effectiveness of the one-credit introductory experiment course is still not enough to cope with the writing of the soil carbon sink project. When the course is taught, it is necessary to spend more time guiding students to reflect on the learning effect or encourage students to take the advanced courses, allowing the learning process to expand from basics to practical problem-solving and increasing competitiveness and employability.
