競賽的原則首重古平與合理，當由多項名次換算積分累計後以排定總名次時，由於一般的競賽規則中，鮮少對此積分換算去式加以規範，主辦單位常憑藉一般的經驗與直覺而制定。這類主:式的數學意義為何?總積分是否能忠實地反應與賽者的實力?如何再評比總積分相同時的情形?此一問題常發生在日常生活中卻少見學術界JJ.討。本文試以數理角度解析之，提出合情合理的簡易計分去式，供相關單位制定競賽規則時參考應用。

Theprinciples of competition are fairness and reasonableness. However the authorities in charge often set up the total score formulae according to their own experiences and instincts. Whatis the mathematical meaning of such formulae? Can the total scores reflect the competitors' abilities? How to re-rank the competitors when they have the same total score? A reasonable and simple scoring formula is derived and submitted in this paper. Some typical formulae in current use are also categorized and analyzed. There are only two parameters in the proposed formula， which are q and r respectively. Both the mathematical and the physical meaning of the two parameters are well-defined， so the authorities concerned can refer to establish the competition rules or use them directly with ease.
