患者是一位70歲男性病人主訴無痛性血尿有3個星期之久，經一系列泌尿系統及骨腸道攝影檢查，懷疑有乙狀結腸膀胱廔管並疑有結腸腫瘤。患者接受部份膀胱切除術及乙狀結腸切除術後，身體恢復情況良好。組織病理檢查證實有乙狀結腸憩室並引起膀胱膿腫。患者術後一年之尿液及膀胱鏡檢查正常。

A 70-year-old man presented with a 3-week history of painless gross hematuria. Bladder abscess secondary to colon diverticulitis was diagnosed through evaluation of the genitourinary and gastrointestinal tracts. Partial cystectomy with primary sigmoid resection was performed, convalescence was uneventful. Pat hological examination of the bladder revealed bladder abscess and the sigmoid colon showed diverticulitis. Follow up cystoscopy showed normal bladder and urinalysis remained normal.
