IEEE 802.15.6 Task Group近年來著手制訂無線人體區域網路規範。此技術由此標準分為三種實體層:窄頻、超寬頻,及人體通訊。人體通訊網路是一個受到各方矚目的新興通訊技術,將徹底影響下一代的醫療照護與多媒體娛樂。人體通訊網路也帶來了許多新的挑戰,如可擴充性、能源效率、天線/電極設計、服務質量(QoS)、共存、緩和干擾、安全及隱私等等。本論文將探討人體通訊傳送端架構、訊框結構。同時,本論文也將針對此規範設計接收機之演算法,並以模擬結果驗證所提之接收機架構可以滿足802.15.6的效能要求。本論文也針對人體通道進行實際量測,並對人體通道之特性進行分析。
Recently, IEEE 802.15.6 Task Group investigates the technology and develops the specification for wireless body area network. The standard comprises three physical layers: narrowband, ultra wideband (UWB), and human body communication (HBC). In HBC, the human body is utilized as the medium for data transmission. Human body network is a promising technology that can revolutionize next-generation healthcare and entertainment applications. In addition, human body network brings out a new set of challenges in terms of scalability, energy efficiency, antenna design, QoS, coexistence, interference mitigation, security, and privacy. This paper investigates the transmitter architecture and the frame structure for HBC in IEEE 802.15.6. Moreover, the receiver algorithm is developed in accordance to the specification, which is shown to achieve the performance requirement by conducting simulation results. Furthermore, we study the measurements for human body channel and analyze the characteristics of the human body channel.
