在車載資通訊的領域中,目前以車載隨意網路發展的最快速,目前已經有相當多的研究機構 與企業投入資源進行開發與研究,但是在車載隨意網路中訊息如何正確地傳遞給需要的車輛以及 有效率地傳輸是目前最需要解決的問題。除此之外,制定與規格化與行車安全資訊相關的訊息也 是在行車安全範疇上急需解決的問題。因此,ETSI提出了 GeoNetworking (GN)傳輸協定,此為網路 層的傳輸協定,用以提升訊息在車載隨意網路中的傳輸效率以及避免訊息在傳遞時在網路中造成 廣播風暴的問題。針對行車安全訊息方面,ETSI也制定了二個與行車安全相關的訊息規格,分別 為CAM以及DENM,透過GN傳輸協定在車載隨意網路中可以非常有效地將行車安全訊息傳送至正 確以及需要的車輛,根據分析GN將會是下一世代在車載隨意網路中最受注目的應用。

英文摘要

Vehicle ad-hoc network (VANET) is developed rapidly in the field of Telematics, which have a considerable number of research institutions and business companies invest resources in this topic. However, how to deliver the message to the vehicle in the VANET correctly and rapidly is one of the works that the most need to be solved. Therefore, ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) proposed the GeoNetworking, the network layer protocol, which can increase the transmission efficiency and avoid the broadcast storm problem in the VANET. ETSI also proposed two types of the vehicle safety messages, CAM (Cooperative awareness message) and DENM (Decentralized environmental notification message). According to GeoNetworking, the CAM and DENM can be delivered to the correct vehicle very fast and efficiency, which can decrease the ratio of the car accident efficiently. Thus, GeoNetworking will be the most anticipated application of the next generation vehicle ad hoc networks.
