青少年不是小大人、亦非大小孩，有其生長發育階段的健康問題與疾病。青少年擔心他們自己的健康狀況，只是基於隱密性、經濟、道德、上課時間、及青少年專屬的醫療資源等因素，致使他們相對地較少利用到醫療保健照顧。本文擬就青少年的健康問題、青少年的健康照護問題、親善的青少年健康照護、周全性的青少年健康評估與診治、親善的青少年門診服務、青少年門診服務現況來討論如何在臨床執業服務中提升青少年健康照護品質。

Adolescents are neither small adults, nor the big children. They have their own health problems anddiseases in the growth and development period. They worry about their own health conditions, but theyrelatively have less access to health care because of confidentiality, economic, moral, class schedule, andyoungsters’ exclusive medical resources, etc. This article focuses on adolescent health issues, adolescent healthcare problem, adolescent or youth friendly health care, comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment ofadolescents, adolescent friendly clinic services, and current status of adolescent-friendly clinic services todiscuss how to promote youth health care service quality in clinical practice.
