本研究目的為探討文化多元性對同事關係之影響。調查對象為台灣製造業中菲律賓籍和本國勞工混合以及純本國勞工之工作團隊基層主管,一共發出293份問卷,有效回收186份。實證結果得知,文化多元性工作團隊,有較差之同事關係。而且,社交互動程度會干擾文化多元性對同事關係的影響。結果顯示,社交互動程度低之文化多元性團隊,其同事關係會更削弱。然而,工作互動的干擾效果則不顯著。本研究並針對理論及管理意涵與限制進行討論,並對未來研究提供建議。
The purpose of this study is to investigate whether cultural diversity will influence co-workers relations in workplace. The sample was made up of 186 supervisors among manufacturing industry in Taiwan. The results indicated that blending Philippine workers and local employees in the workplace had lower level of co-workers relations then the groups composed of local employees. The level of social interaction moderated the effects of cultural diversity on co-workers relations. Supporting the hypothesis, cultural diversity work group members with low level of social interaction had low level of co-workers relations. However, the level of task-related interaction had no significant moderating effect. Implications and limitations of these results were discussed. Suggestions for future research were provided.
