九份,位在臺北縣瑞芳鎮東方約五公里處,擁有美麗的自然景觀,一年四季中每日晨昏氣候明顯變化的自然風景及一覽無遺的山海景色,是旅客直接接觸大自然的最佳方式。昔日繁華的老街、廢棄的礦坑、自成一格的礦區風光與淘金史,經由媒體的一再傳播,吸引了四方尋找靈感的藝術家來尋找創造的題材,嚮往復古的遊客也大量前來緬懷思古,細細品味這礦業城市中的有情天地。隨著旅遊業的進入,迅速改變了昔日礦業聚落的面貌,帶來商機也帶來許多危機。在商品經濟的強力壓境下,礦業城市文化的導覽已被壓縮在角落,無人理睬,如「豎崎路」起點「彭園」,橫跨日治與戰後兩個時期的歷史建築和文化,因九份商街的興起,已無人參觀流連了,商品文化充斥,擠走原有的礦山文化的特色,如果過度包裝商品行銷退色,旅遊景點及引力自然會喪失,能持續將商品賣出,又能把持礦山文化的特色,是旅遊業永續經營的法寶。一座礦坑、一座古廟、一座古厝、一間國校可看到三個國家輪流統治臺灣的縮影,三個國家留下的統治遺跡,就是臺灣的觀光新契機,要將它們原地原音重現,這也是九份必須發展出超越國家、民族的觀光文化資源,以便吸引更多的觀光客來臨。本論文從實用觀點上重新設計深度文化之旅遊的九份景點,提供給從事導遊工作者之參考指標。

英文摘要

Jiufen is located in the new portion of Taipei City, about five kilometers east of the town of Raifang. Jiufen possess a beautiful natural landscape, changing weather all year round, and wonderful scenery of mountains and sea within one glance. Visiting Jiufen is one of the best ways to get in touch with nature. Through mass media, Jiufen has attracted artists and general tourists who come to seek inspiration and sources for creative endeavor, drawing on its picturesque old downtown streets, an abandoned mine, and history of gold mining. Unfortunately, the tourist industry has changed the face of this old mining settlement. Tourism has given rise to business opportunities, but it has also brought challenges. With the commodity economy holding sway, the culture of mining has not been adequately preserved. For example, ‘Peng-Yuan,’ standing at the beginning point of ‘Shu-Chi Road,’ was a unique architectural feature combining Japanese influence and post-war elements. As Jiufen's commercial streets developed, ‘Peng-Yuan’ was ignored by tourists. Sustainable tourism might be achieved through introduction of goods that maintain the characteristics of the mining culture. A mine, a temple, a historic house, and an elementary school in Jiufen all epitomize the town's character. Jiufen offers new opportunities for tourism in Taiwan, so long as its originality is preserved. In this paper, a redesign of an in-depth cultural tourism model is presented as a reference for tour guides.
