目的:探討壓瘡患者住院期間的主要照顧者之照顧焦慮經驗。
方法:採用現象學方法,並用立意取樣方式在南部兩家地區醫院招募壓瘡患者之主要照顧者。訪問了12位家屬以達到數據飽和。訪談資料收集是在2022年五月到七月期間,並使用Colaizzi的七步驟現象學方法進行資料分析。
結果:研究結果分析了四個主題。第⼀個主題是住院期間的焦慮影響身心反應;第二個主題是出院前照顧焦慮達到最高;第三個主題是回家後照顧焦慮的轉變;以及第四個主題是家人焦慮的緩解與因應。
結論:本研究探討壓瘡患者的主要照顧者之焦慮體驗,讓臨床醫護人員深入了解主要照顧者的焦慮症狀和想法,可用於進一步制定適當的護理措施,以降低主要照顧者對壓瘡患者的焦慮反應衝擊。因此,本研究強調照顧壓瘡患者過程中對主要照顧者的心理影響,這將有助於醫療機構能了解主要照護者在協助照護壓瘡患者時的感受以及焦慮程度。

英文摘要

Aim: The purpose of this study was to explore the anxiety experience of the primary caregiver of pressure ulcer patients during hospitalization.
Methods: A phenomenological approach was used. Purposive sampling was adopted to recruit pressure sore patients’ primary caregiver in two local hospitals in Taiwan. Twelve primary caregivers were interviewed to reach data saturation. Data were collected during May 2022 to July 2022 and were analyzed used Colaizzi's sevenstep phenomenological method.
Results: Four main themes emerged. The first theme was “Anxiety during hospitalization affects mental responses”; Theme 2 was “Care anxiety at its highest before discharge from hospital”; Theme 3 was “Shifts in care giving anxiety after patient returning home”; and theme 4 was “Relief and coping of primary caregiver ’s anxiety “.
Conclusion: This study explored the anxiety experience of primary caregiver of pressure ulcer patients and provided clinical practitioners with an in-depth understanding of the anxiety symptoms and thoughts of the primary caregiver. It can be used to develop appropriate care measures further to reduce the anxiety responses of primary caregiver with pressure ulcer patients. Thus, this study highlights the psychological impact on primary caregiver of the process of caring for pressure ulcer patients, which will help healthcare organizations to better understand primary caregiver’ thought processes and anxiety of pressure when caring for pressure ulcer patients.
