Families play an essential role in assisting children in coping with chronic illness. Normalization is defined as a process in which families attempt tonormalize their daily living while having a member with chronic illness. In this article, the concept of normalization and its implicatios in family nursing areanalyzed. This may provide useful insights for clinical applications and research.
