當前校長頓導理論或理念原多,廣被非營利組織和企業組織採用的說故事頓導(storytelling leadership)理論,以故事和說故事為頓導桔心,可供中 小學校長經營學校參考。本研究探討說故事頓導的理論和實務,提出三個能說明頓導、說故事、故事三要素闢係的關係模式、故事類型的整合觀點、故事和說故事的功能和技巧。叉檢視發現說故事頓導和教育頓導理念有交疊關係,校長說故事頓導理念得以成立。討論應用說故事頓導的四項問題,以校長職責和職能、校長角色和預期表現行為作基礎,由認知、能力和表現三個概念,構思出校長說故事頓導內涵架構雛形、提出45個檢視項目、5項實施策略、以及充實校長自己說故事頓導能力的作法、和校長進行說故事頓導的步驟看法。

英文摘要

Many leadership theories or ideas for principal have been proposed nowadays. Thereforethe storytelling leadership, which focuses on stories and story telling, prevails among nonprofit organizations and corporations and is useful for school operation. So the study discussed the theories and practices about storytelling leadership, and proposed three causal models which illustrated the relationship among leadership, storytelling and story; one integrated view for various story types, and several functions and skills for story and storytelling. According to the findings that storytelling leadership and educational leadership are correlated, the ideas of principal storytelling leadership were convinced. Moreover four issues for applying storytelling leadership were discussed. One prototype framework about principal storytelling leadership was proposed that based upon the principal's duties, responsibilities, competences, roles and expected behaviors, and combined with three conceptual dimensions which included various cognitions, abilities and performances. Finally,45 assessing items, five strategies for implementing principals' storytelling leadership, some methods for improving principals' storytelling leadership competences and the executive steps for principal storytelling leadership were also discussed.
