本研究採用廢食用油來進行生質柴油製造之實驗,探討轉酯化過程中控制參數對生質柴油產率的影響,並選用大豆油之實驗結果做為對照。實驗之參數包括醇 /油比例、攪拌轉數、反應時間、反應溫度、催化劑的種類與用量等,生質柴油的產率則以高效液相層析法做量測分析。實驗結果顯示,反應時間應達 120分鐘,醇/油比例保守應採用 6:1以上,攪拌轉數應達 900 rpm以上,最佳操作溫度約 60-70 °C。將本研究各自參數之最佳值做成組合,以廢食用油製造生質柴油之產出率高達 90.83%。

英文摘要

Experiments were conducted using waste cooking oil to produce biodiesel for this study. The effects of the control parameters in the transesterification process on the yield of biodiesel were investigated. The results were then compared with the control parameters in the transesterification process using the soybean oil. The parameters considered for our experiments included methanol-to-oil ratio, stirring rate, reaction time, reaction temperature, type, and amount of catalysts. The yield of biodiesel was measured and analyzed with high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).The experimental results suggested that reaction time should reach 120 minutes, methanol-to-oil ratio should be at least 6:1, stirring rate should be 900 rpm, and the best operation temperature was about 60-70°C. By combining the individually optimized parameters for this study, the yield of the biodiesel produced from waste cooking oil reached as high as 90.83%.
