子宮內膜異位症真正原因至今尚無定論，但與月經逆流理論及自體免疫缺損所造成的異位內膜細胞種植、黏附及增生有密切關係。中醫典籍在明朝，薛己.校注婦人良方已有類似子宮內膜異位症併巧克力囊腫病因病機及治療處方的記載。本文透過中醫典籍及中西文獻資料的收集，並結合作者自己的臨床經驗，建構子宮內膜異位症中西醫結合理論，並提出治療方案，俾供中醫臨床教學與治療的參考。其結果，補益脾腎，疏肝理氣，養陰清熱，破瘀消癥，為治療子宮內膜異位症的主要治則 ;血瘀為子宮內膜異位症引起痛經的主要病理，而化癥回生丹為主要治療方劑。

The causes of woman endometriosis are not surely clear until now. But it is relationship with retrograded menstruation and autoimmune defect which induced endometrial cells graft, adhesion and proliferation. The etiology, pathological mechanism and treatment of endometriosis complicated ovary chocolate cyst had a similar recorded in Chinese class book of jiao-zhu-fu-ren-liang-fang by Xue Ji at Ming dynasty. The present is expertly established the integrated theory and treatment for woman endometriosis in Chinese and Western Medicine from review papers included Chinese class book and combined author's experience in clinic. It will offer the reference of clinic teaching and treatment in Chinese Medicine. The results demonstrated that the main principles of endometriosis treatment were included supplement the spleen and kidney, course the liver and rectify qi， nourish yin and heat-clearing, break stasis and disperse concretions. Blood stasis is a main pathogenesis of dysmenorrhea caused by endometriosis and hua zheng hui sheng dan is a main formula for treated endometriosis.
