膀胱周圍之不可吸收縫線有可能潛行穿越膀胱壁進入膀胱內，終而變成異物導致結石的形成。本文報告一罕見之膀胱結石病例，結石懸吊於一條5公分長的環形不可吸收縫線的尾端，體情竟達5*4*3公分。該縫線相信應為患者於8年手術時用以縫合腹壁所遺留下的尼龍環形線。原則上，不可吸收縫線不應使用於膀胱本身之縫合，也應避免使用於下腹部腹壁的縫合。我們更應隨時警覺膀胱周圍及骨盤腔內之不可吸收縫線都有潛行穿越膀胱壁的可能，對曾經於手術中用過的患者，手術後如有排尿症狀，應隨時以腹部X光追蹤，以便早期發現是曾嚴結石形成。

A case report of a giant vesical calculus hanging on the tail of an intravesically migrated loop of nonabsorbable suture is presented. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case report of such an intravesical migration of an abdominal wall nylon loop in the English literature. Because of the possibility of such migration and subsequent stone formation, nonabsorbable sutures should be kept away from lower abdominal wall closures, and should only be carefully used in pelvic surgery, with appropriate X-ray follow-up.
