本實驗使用三種不同的方法來測量精蟲的活動力，並比較其相關性。此三種方法為(一)精蟲活動力指數﹝1﹞、(二)過膜游動法、和(三)電腦輔助精蟲分析法。實驗樣本數為16。三者之中，以電腦輔助精蟲分析法能提供最豐富的資訊，對於精液中有直線、快速運動的精蟲(即第四度活動力、有受孕力精蟲)所佔比例，精蟲活動力指數分析法和電腦輔助精蟲分析法有較佳的相關性(P<0.01)，而這兩種方法和過膜游動法的相關性在本實驗中未能證實。

Three different methods were recruited in this experiment to assess sperm motillity and evaluate their correlation. They were (1) motillity index, (2) transmembrane migration method, and (3) computer assisted semen analysis. Sam-ple size was 16. Among three of them, computer assisted semen analysis offered the most in-formative profile of the semen tested. As for the sperms that presented presented that presented progressive forward movement (i.e., grade 4 motility, or fertile sperms), the correlation between motility index and computerassisted semen analysis was estab-lished in this experiment (P>0.01); however, we failed to comfirm the correlation between these two methods and trans- membrane migration method.
