領導是一門科學,也是一門藝術,美學的思考是領導不可忽略的一環。然而國內有關領導美學的研究並不多。因此,本研究以美學觀點探究一位幼兒園園長領導歷程中所面臨的問題。為深入了解整體脈絡,本研究採個案研究法,以觀察、訪談、文件資料蒐集等質性方式進行。歷經15 個月探究,發現個案園長的領導面臨個人心態、決策、溝通與人事等問題。進一步深入研究後,發現個案園長在執行各項領導工作時,若能體察環境變化、社會變遷與工作伙伴的訊息,就能適時調整腳步與方向,經過時間的磨練與危機事件的萃練,就能逐步脫離庖丁解牛初期般的生硬、粗魯甚至蠻橫的醜陋狀態,進而轉化朝向自然、尊重、和諧的美學境界邁進。最後,本研究根據研究結論,提出對個案幼兒園園長及未來後續研究之相關建議。

英文摘要

Leadership is considered as a science as well as an art. It is essential to think esthetically when conducting leadership. There are small amount of research studies regarding the leadership esthetics. Thus the main purpose of this case study is to explore the difficulties which the director of some kindergarten was facing.The method of the study was chosen to understand the context of the leadership by observing,
interviewing the client and collecting related biographies and literatures. The difficulties which the director of some kindergarten was facing have been figured out since this study was launched on fifteen months ago. The attitude of management, strategies of operating,
communicating with team members and personnel matters are the problems to be overcome. If the director of the kindergarten can perceive the changing status of physical and social environments and catch the
messages from partners in school, she can adjust the rhythm and direction in time. Then the matters of stiffness and roughness can be prevented. The state of nature, respect and harmonization in school leadership can be approached gradually.Finally, the suggestions about the improvements of managing a kindergarten and the directions of future study are proposed.
