瀏覽器已成為主要設備和服務之間的接口。傳統的P2P串流需要另行安裝軟體且難以嵌入到其他網站。基於瀏覽器的P2P串流技術的目標，在於幾乎不須安裝，並允許快速地透過網址分享。在本文中，我們探討在異質網路的各種移動設備中以瀏覽器為基礎實現P2P串流技術的可能性。
英文摘要
Browser has become the main interface between devices and services. Conventional P2P streaming services require installation and are more difficult to embed to other web sites. Browser-based P2P streaming targets at nearly no installation and allows fast sharing through URLs. In this paper, we explore the possibility of running browser-based P2P streaming over heterogeneous networks and mobile devices.
