The Nobel Prizes are widely regarded as the most prestigious awards given for intellectual achievement in the world. The prizes in chemistry, literature, peace, physics, and physiology or medicine were first awarded in 1901. In 1968, Sveriges Riksbank, Sweden’s central bank, established the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel. The six prizes symbolize the advancement of human history. When reading the content of a specific award, however, one may have difficulty comprehending it because it is mostly scattered among different publications or websites. The paper focuses on Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Information and data in relation to this prize are searched and collected for developing simple narration in colloquial Chinese. As a basic learning-oriented system, this study aims for science popularization. One hundred and twenty years have passed since the first Chemistry Award was offered in 1901. The data size of all awards, no doubt, is enormous. This study provides profiles of prize winners, reasons for the award and related research content and its application to life. Upon completion of data integration, the researcher applied 2D-Flash to develop a set of computer-aided instructional system. An easy-to-understand computer-aided learning system in colloquial Chinese is thus designed. In addition to helping learners understand the content of individual awards, this system can further be used as teaching material of popular science.
