本研究針對添加耐磨性質之奈米材料氮化硼(Boron nitride,BN)於原廠齒輪油中,研究熱特性變化及磨潤做為實驗成果的效益評估。總共試驗base、0.05 wt.%、0.1 wt.%、0.15 wt.%、0.5 wt.%的奈米齒輪油,最後選定綜效表現較佳的0.1 wt.%奈米齒輪油。在熱傳導實驗與磨潤實驗中,0.1 wt.%奈米齒輪油相較於其他齒輪油,平均降低些許的磨耗量與提升了熱傳導係數。實驗證實奈米齒輪油可以提供齒輪箱較佳潤滑與散熱之效果,並從沉降實驗、比熱實驗、熱導與磨潤實驗可以證實添加奈米材料於齒輪油,而做出的奈米齒輪油基礎性質改善。

英文摘要

In this study, a nano-boron nitride(BN) with wear resistance, was added into the original gear oil to test the thermal and tribology characteristics. In total, five kinds of nano gear oil were conducted, which were base, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.5wt.% respectively. The 0.1 wt. % nano BN gear oil with better overall performance was selected in the end. Compared to other gear oil samples, the 0.1 wt.% nano BN gear oil reduced few amounts of wear and increased the thermal conduction coefficient in the thermal conduction experiment and the tribology test. Overall, the experiments confirmed that nano BN gear oil could provide better lubrication and heat dissipation in the gear box; moreover, adding nano BN into the original gear oil improved the basic characteristics of gear oil, which was shown in the sedimentation experiment, specific heat test, thermal conductivity and tribology test.
