余光中（1928~），是近代著名的現代文學大師及學者，在現代詩及散文的創作方面，少見地詩作之質與量俱有可觀，且能從傳統詩詞推陳出新，語意句法翻轉新奇，學識中西涵泳，博貫古今，現代少有能出其右者。在其上千首的詩作之中，人物詩占了三百六十二首，除了詠自己、家人、朋友以外，歌詠古今中外知名人物的詩亦占八十五首，份量非常可觀，蔚為一片嘉賓雲集的風景。其中，展現了對人物的歷史關懷、文化敏銳，深化了余光中現實主義的深廣度，所歌詠的對象極為廣泛，從中可以發掘他雄奇偉麗的敘事風格，以及對逝去人物的懷古幽情。本文試圖從詩人作品繫年，爬梳其人物詩所具備的特色。

Yu Guang-Zhong(1928~ ) is the famous modern literature master and scholar. In the modern poems and prose field, both on quality and quantity, impressively he not only produced a lot, and also weeds through the old to bring forth the new for traditional poems and sentence structure. His acquirement involved eastern and western, and from ancient to the present. Nowadays, there are few human-beings could reach this stage.
In thousand of his works, character poems take 362 pieces, besides intone himself, family, friends, also the famous in eastern and western, and from ancient to the present, which’s poems take 85 pieces, which are very huge quantities. We could take this as guests to come together in crowds. He intoned human-beings much extensively and his works present the history concern and culture penetration to deepen his scope to the reality philosophy. To excavate this great and gorgeous style is the main purpose of this article.
