本文提出了一個針對嵌入式系統上,USB主機(Universal Serial Bus Host)介面之建構的快速解決方案。也就是討論如何運用市面上易獲得的USB主機控制器晶片及開放程式碼,達到系統移植上的需求,包含:軟硬快速開發、高度整合性以及嵌入式系統低成本、高效能、低功耗的考量。全文將基於Linux系統,在PAC Duo平台上以ST-Ericsson ISP1760 USB主機控制器晶片為實例作深入探討。
In this work, we propose a solution for building a USB (Universal Serial Bus) host interface rapidly in an embedded system. We will discuss the procedure of how to use common USB host IC and open-source code to meet the system requirement of rapid development and highly integration. The proposed solution also has the advantages of low cost, high throughput, and low power consumption. The ST-Ericsson ISP1760 USB host controller IC (Integrated circuit) together with the Linux system is used as the test vehicle to evaluate the feasibility of this solution.
