本計畫結合行動通訊與數位生活技術，延伸數位化生活方式於最大自由度之優質生活，並帶動國內行動生活產業之發展。透過WiFi/WiMAX、Cellular等無線寬頻基礎環境，以及台灣 Netbook、電子書等終端設計製造優勢，投入以終端加服務平台來提供行動應用服務之模式，發展未來具高度成長潛力之行動個人化推薦、電子書學習等應用所需之網路服務終端、系統平台、行動個人化電子書應用等系統技術。結合業界共同促成以服務結合終端之解決方案，建立全球化營運之服務平台。並以行動個人化推薦與電子書學習等應用服務，進行國內試煉並帶動解決方案國際輸出成功案例。

With unifying the mobile communications and digital living technologies, the "Mobile Life System and Technology" project targets to lead the development of the domestic industry to provide a high quality digital living style. Based on the advantages of the wireless broadband infrastructure (WiFi/WiMAX, Cellular and other networks) and the terminal design and manufacturing (Netbook and eBook), this project promotes a hybrid model which considers the functions of mobile terminals and services platforms. It develops personalized recommendation, service terminal, and system platforms technologies for the potential eBook services. Moreover, by integrating the industrial efforts, the project establishes an integration solution on terminals to fit the needs of global operations services. The domestic service trials for mobile personalized recommendations and learning with eBook are conducted and drive the successful export cases.
