CatchPo為一即時擷取電視節目畫面成圖片/影片片段的動態雲端服務，提供創新的使用者與 電視內容互動方式。當使用者看到電視上出現感興趣的畫面時，僅需使用透過CatchPo API(Application Program Interface，應用程式介面)開發出的應用程式，便能在8秒內擷取電視節目畫 面成圖片或影片片段，快速分享給社群網路服務上的好友，同時取得該畫面相關的中介資料 (metadata)。CatchPo建立了網路與電視內容的資訊渠道，電視內容不再只是播出後就失去了它的 價值，透過使用者的主動擷取和散佈，該影音內容片段可以吸引到更多的觀眾，電視內容業者亦 可透過CatchPo的內容管理後台，進行精準式行銷以及了解觀眾對於內容主動擷取與散佈的行為，以達到雙臝的目的。

CatchPo is a television show-capturing service that enables television viewers to instantly capture images and video clips from TV shows they are watching or passed away, as well as to easily share captured images and clips with their friends. CatchPo provides a What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) user experience for audiences to interact with TV shows content. Furthermore, CatchPo introduces a new business model for the television ecosystem. When a CatchPo user captures an image or a clip, advertising agencies and content providers can recommend advertisements and offer users additional relevant information. This paper presents a discussion on the scenarios, features, design, and implementation of CatchPo.
