本論文以質性研究的方式,探討一位幼兒園教師在大班實施生死教育的教學歷程。在此教學歷程中教師以《爺爺有沒有穿西裝》繪本的分享為始,進而以繪畫活動展開與幼兒的對話。研究者將所收集的資料進行詮譯與分析。研究的工具包括幼兒繪畫作品、師生對話紀錄、教學活動計畫、教學省思日誌、研究者觀察札記、教師訪談紀錄等。本研究發現:幼兒對死亡事件,也會有悲傷的情緒:幼娩的繪畫內容反映出他們的生活經驗;大班幼兒尚未具備成熟的死亡概念:教師透過適當的教學活動,較能與幼就在自在的情境下談論死亡。透過此研究,我們提出一些教學建議,作為日後幼兒園實施生死教育之參考。

英文摘要

This paper adopted qualitative methods to investigate the teaching process of a kindergarten teacher who implemented life-and-death education in a kindergarten senior class. The teacher began with story telling using a picture book, “Is Grandpa Wearing a Suit”, and then went on a drawing activity to open dialogues with children. The researchers interpreted and analyzed the collected data. The research instruments included children’s drawings, teacher-child conversation notes, teaching reflections diaries, teaching plan, researcher’s observation notes, interview records, etc. The findings of the research are: even a child would sorrow over a death event; the contents of children’s drawings reflect their experience of life; the kindergarteners in the senior class do not have a mature understanding of the concept of death; by suitable teaching activities, the teacher can talk about death with the children under comfortable situation. Through this study, we proposed
some teaching suggestions for kindergartens to be implemented life-and-death education in the future.
