本研究採用歷史形式的哲學研究方法，從人類倫理觀念之發生與體育活動之史料中，把體育活動與人類倫理道德之關係，加以整理和作綜合之解釋，並申論體育活動在倫理道德教育中之功能，進而證明體育活動之推展，必有助於人類倫理道德、之重建。

體育活動與人類歷史共存共榮。在原始時代體育活動時代體育活動就擔任著人類謀生技能和生活經驗之傳授任務，隨後由於民智漸開以及天人合一思想之影響，使體育活動帶有宗教色彩和倫理
思想，成為維黨社會倫理秩序之主要力量。現代體育更擔負了發展體適能，充實心智，陶冶品德，建立人際關係，增進國際友誼之多種功能，形成重建人類倫理道德之基石。體育活動在個人、家庭、社會、國家倫理秩序方面，發揮了實習之效果。

一、體育活動促進個人積極性之身心健康，建立樂觀進取，服務他人，強而不暴之完美人格。
二、體育活動使家居生活活潑開朗，強化家庭成員之維繫力量，防止青少年犯罪問題之發生。
三、體育活動使社會民眾情感交流，守望相助，發展群性，並培養道德勇氣和犯難之精神。
四、體育活動反映民族朝氣，國家潛力，更長達成國民外交，增進國際有誼，提高國際地位之有效途徑。

The study is based on a philosophical method in historical form. According to the viewpoint of ethics and the datum about physical education activities. I arTange and explain the relationship between them， Furthermore， I want to extend the functions of physical education activities in ethical education and prove the development of physical education activities which will assits the rebuilding of ethical education.

The physical education activities Coexists with the history of mankind， Back in the original age. It played an important part in skills of earning a living. Later owing to the development of know ledge and of the
thought of providence and man united in one， The physical educatior activities was always accompanied with religion and ethical thought and became the main force of maint aining social order﹒Modern physical education undectakes the functions of developing the physical fitness strengthening ones' mantality. Converting disposition establishing the relationship among people increasing the international friendship and even becoming the basis of human ethics.

Physical education activities brings essential effects in individual family society and nation as follow:

1. Itimproves individual in health both physical and mental and builds the perfect of optimistic life serving others.
2. It make family life happy and bright,strengthens the force of the members' association and wards off the problems of the teenager delinquency.
3. It makes the social crowd cultiviate the friendship helps one another in need develop the feelings of the group and drill the moral courage and the soirit of adventure.
