在行動語音與寬頻數據使用量持續暴增的趨勢下,行動流量卸載(Mobile Traffic Offloading)技術成為行動電信營運商必需面對的關鍵技術。3GPP在R10版本亦導入行動流量卸載的概念與技術。本文提出企業級行動閘道器架構,讓核心網路可以卸載行動語音與寬頻數據流量。並且詳細描述電路交換(CS)和分封交 換(PS)流量卸載服務的執行程序。行動電信營運商透過使用企業級行動閘道器架構,可以顯著降低其核心網絡的流量負載,同時也可節省用戶傳輸成本。此外,超微型蜂巢式網路用戶亦不需要修改他們的家用基地台。

英文摘要

The traffic of mobile voice and data continues to rapidly increase. Mobile telecomunications operators must face the mobile traffic offloading issues in the future,which becomes a key technology of mobile telecommunications. Several traffic offloading concepts and mechanisms have also been proposed by 3GPP Release 10. In this paper, we proposed an Enterprised Mobile Gateway architecture to realize the mobile traffic offloading mechanism, which can offload both voice and data traffic from the core network. The execution flows for Circuit Switched (CS) and Packet Switched (PS) services are explained in this paper. By using this approach, mobile operators can significantly reduce the traffic loads of their core networks. In addition, femtocell users does not need to modify their Femto Access Points (FAPs).
