臺北市登山步道共計有129 條，總長約100 公里，主要鋪面材質為砂岩、安山岩、花崗岩、混凝土及鐵木地板等五大類。登山步道常因日照不足，且環境潮濕，造成步道表面青苔生長，影響登山人員的安全。本研究針對易滋生青苔的鋪面材質表面製造鹼性環境來抑制青苔生長，並透過鋪面防水處理後，以斷絕青苔所需之水分，找出抑制青苔生長的方案，維護登山人員安全行走之目的。

There are 129 mountain accessible paths in Taipei City area, and with a totally length of 100 Km. The major pavement materials are sandstone, andesite, granite, concrete, and guaiacum officinale. Due to lack sunlight and the humid environment, the surfaces of mountain accessible paths are easily made moss growth, and thus affect the safety of climbers. This study intended to use alkaline environment and waterproofed treatment to prevent moss growth on the surface of pavement in order to keep climber’s safety.
