IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) computer society specified a suite of the IEEE1609 serial standards for vehicular communication networks (WAVE, Wireless Access in VehicularEnvironments). The IEEE 1609.11 focuses on the ETC payment application of vehicles. It supports thewireless communication between a vehicle and a roadside infrastructure network. The drivers pay quickly thevarious fees and save the driving time. Furthermore, it also reduces the management cost for the serviceprovider and improves the status of traffic.
