本研究採用監督式分類法中之最大似然法作為影像分類處理技術，輔以室內，外驗證等模式化研究，順利萃取水體、植被、建物及農作物等四大地類圖資，研究成果分類準確度達74%。成果圖資可以GIS空間分析模組，運用加權條件模式，整合諸多地形要素，運用於相關地形分析，提供決策參考。
英文摘要
This research presents the methodology of image-processing test imagery and scanned maps for possibi1ities to gather specific spatial data of land covers. It also includes validation of the results in order to derive the parameters for terrain analysis. Its results claim that the datasets can be complemented by the derived data from image processing of digital images.
