總整課程概念常用於高等教育,統整所學,深化知識與反思,學以致用於未來,以利銜接職涯發展,強調訂定與系所核心能力相關之課程目標,為了達到課程目標而規劃課程內容,且不斷評估學生學習成效之動態過程。本研究目的在於透過總整課程概念,以運動休閒與餐旅專題討論和產業特論課程進行總整課程實施,研究對象為參與兩門課程之學生,課程內容包含專題演講、論文發表與協助辦理研討會,以開放式問卷進行前後測評估學習成效,分析方法為描述性統計、相依樣本t檢定與內容分析。研究結果發現,學生在部分所定核心能力有顯著進步,而在課程目標上則皆有顯著進步。依此,本研究之課程實施方式可供未來相關系所在設計總整課程上參考。

英文摘要

The concept of Capstone is usually applied for higher education. The process of learning, knowledge, and refl ection connects to the development of a career in the future. It emphasizes the linkage between the core ability of department and course objectives. To achieve the course objective, the content is designed and students’ performances are evaluated constantly. Therefore, the purpose of this study was through the courses of “Seminar” and “Topic on Industry” to demonstrate the concept of Capstone. Participants were students who joined both courses. The content of courses included speeches, academic presentations, and conference holding. An open-ended questionnaire was designed for pretest and posttest. Descriptive analysis, dependent t-test, and content analysis were applied. The result demonstrated parts of the students’ core ability signifi cantly improved. There was a signifi cant improvement of most course objectives. Furthermore, this study could help other departments to develop their own capstone courses.
