本研究分析1999至2000年世界級羽球男子雙打選手的第三拍技術，總計十二場共1015 個第三拍，以卡方考驗的適合度考驗分析資料後發現，當接發球主動時， 第三拍的效果以被動占大多數，比例為 61.64 ％； 當接發球一般時，第三拍的效果亦以一般為主，比例為 44.11 ％； 當接發球被動時， 第三拍的效果則以主動和得分占絕大多數， 合計達93.74 ％。 整體來說，世界級男子雙打選手的第三拍效果以被動為主，其比例為 44.83 ％。至於第三拍主動的情形是可能的，其比例占 16.85 ％，而第三拍得分則只占 5.52 ％。

　　　　　This study analyzed the third strokes in 12 badminton games (1015 thirdstrokes in total) of world-class men's doubles from 1999 to 2000. After agoodness of fit test in chi-square test, this study had the following findings:1) when the return of serve is aggressive, the third strokes were mostly passive(61.64%); 2) when the return of serve was neutral, the third strokes wereusually neutral (44.11%); 3) When the return of serve was passive, the thirdstrokes were always aggressive and scored (93.74%). Regardless of the type ofreturn of serve, the third strokes in world-class men's doubles were primarilypassive (44.83% out of a total of 1015 third strokes). There were someaggressive third strokes (16.85%), but scoring third strokes were much lessfrequent, only 5.52% of the total.
