亞太經合會(APEC)是亞洲地區重要的合作組織，其會員都有中小企業作 爲經濟發展的主要動力。由於電子商務帶來對經濟及商業的重大影響，本硏究 進行對APEC中小企業在電子商務應用的深入探討。硏究對象包含新加坡、 香港、韓國、中華台北、中國大陸及馬來西亞。主要目的在於瞭解電子商務對 中小企業的影響，同時也提出解決方法。最後亦提出對APEC經濟體有關應 用電子商務方法及彼此合作之建議，希望藉此帶動APEC區域的競爭力。

APEC is a major cooperative organization in the greater Asian region. Each APEC member has SMEs as major drivers of the economy. Due to the rapid and considerable business and economic growth brought forth by e-Commerce, this study has conducted in-depth research into APEC member countries’ SMEs and their applications and methods of e-Commerce. Studies in Singapore, Hong Kong, Republic of Korea, Chinese Taipei, China and Malaysia were conducted; further analysis was also conducted on the effect of e-Commerce on the SME. From such analysis, solutions for problematic occurrences were proposed. Lastly, the suggestions and proposed solutions are integrated in a way to minimize the risk and restrictions for applying e-Commerce in the APEC economies. This will further raise the competitiveness among the APEC member economies.
