本計劃在於實現一個700-MHz多重應用的收發機系統晶片,此系統可以符合700-MHz WiMAX標準及DVB-H的標準,此收發機系統是採用直接轉換的架構,主要由發射機、接收機及頻率合成器
三個大部份所組成,其他還有偏壓電路及控制電路也都整合在此晶片內,發射機從400到900 MHz
可達8.6至6.2 dB的轉換增益,而輸出功率可達3.3至0 dBm,接收機則是從0到30 dB分成五個不同的增益狀態,類比基頻電路則可以提供1.75、2.5、3、3.5、4、5、6及10 MHz的頻寬,此收發機晶片只要搭配數位電路,即可成為一個完整的通訊系統。
This paper presents a 700-MHz transceiver design which can support multi-standards such as WiMAX and DVB-H system. The direct-conversion technique is employed in the system architecture. This system consists of a transmitter, a receiver, a synthesizer, a bandgap reference circuit, and a 3-wire control circuit.
The transmitter can achieve a conversion gain and output power of 8.6 to 6.2 dB and 3.3 to 0 dBm, respectively. The receiver has five conversion gain steps from 0 to 30 dB. Both transmitter and receiver have the return loss greater than 10 dB from 400 to 900 MHz. The analog baseband circuit can provide the bandwidth of 1.75, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 5, 6, and 10 MHz. A complete 700-MHz communication system can be developed base on this design together with the digital baseband circuits.
