本文探討現存的三種無線通訊系統IEEE 802.16m、3GPP-LTE及IEEE 802.11n的共通區塊。本文中我們致力於討論這三種系統在實體層的異同,包括外資料處理器(Data Outer)、內資料處理器(Data Inner)及同步(Synchronization)與測距(Ranging)。最後我們發現了這三個系統有很多可以共用的區塊像是多輸入輸出編/解碼器(MIMO Encoder/Decoder)和通道估測器(Channel Estimator)等。這結果支持了我們未來發展兼容IEEE 802.16m/3GPP-LTE/IEEE 802.11n這三套實體層硬體的目標。
This article investigates the physical layer common blocks between three existing wireless communication systems including IEEE 802.16m、3GPP-LTE and IEEE 802.11n. In this report, we attend to discuss the differences and similarities of these systems including Data Outer、Data Inner、Synchronization and Ranging. Finally we found that in these three systems, there are many common blocks such as MIMO encoder/decoder, channel estimator, etc. The results support our goal to develop an IEEE
802.16m/3GPP-LTE/IEEE 802.11n triple-mode physical layer hardware in the future.
