本文是照顧一位肺癌末期合併腫瘤潰瘍病人之經驗探討，在個案住院的護理期間中，運用Neuman 全人模式評估個案之壓力源及因應策略，確立病人有疼痛、皮膚完整性受損、無望感、死亡焦慮、健康尋求行為等五項主要護理問題。過程中，運用完整的疼痛評估與疼痛處置，及芳香療法減輕腫瘤傷口所產生的惡臭感，並採用主動關懷、陪伴、傾聽等支持鼓勵方式，幫助個案的痛苦減到最輕，讓個案的身心靈獲得安適，進而陪伴病人走完人生最後一段旅程。

This case study, which uses Neuman system model focused on the nursing care of a terminally ill lung cancer patient with a fungating wound during her hospitalization. The painful, skin integrity, hopelessness, death anxiety and health seeking behaviors of this patient were revealed as the major problems in this study. We provided the patient with physical, psychosocial and spiritual relief by supportive treatment, such as pain relief skills, aromatherapy, active attention,empathy and acceptance with the basis of hospice and palliative care. Furthermore, we
accompanied the patient to face her death and made best use of her last life.
