本研究主旨在透過標準化運動能力測驗,比較國立花蓮師院入十三學年度男、女學生運動過能水準之差異,並分析各年級之體能狀況,以為爾後本校體育課程內容編訂及教學評量上之參考。測驗項目係參考國際標準迫能測驗委員會(ICSPFT)編製之基本運動能力測驗,經教學小組討論後還訂實施,共計1262名男、女生參加,依據各項測驗結果,經統計分析後獲致以下之結論: 一、在男生部份,一年級除了在速度方面次於二年級外,其餘在上肢動力、腹部肌力、下肢動力及心肺耐力方面,均較其他年級鳥佳,且除上肢動力外,餘均達P<.05顯著差異。二、在女生部份,一年級在心肺耐力方面優於二、i、四年級且連P<.05之顯著水準,而在上肢動力、下肢動力及腹部肌力方面則是三、四年級優於一、二年級,且均達顯著水準(P<.Ol)。三、不論各年級或全體在相同之測驗項目中,男生均優於女生且連P<.OI之顯著水準,再一次驗證體能之性別差異是存在的。四、本校一年級與他校以往測驗一年級間之比較,除速度及下肢動力略差外,在上肢動力、腹部肌力及心肺耐力方面則優於所比較之學校。本研究顯示體育課程正常教學對學生之體能是有相當助益,唯其效果及成長之幅度尚待進一步探討,並建議不論何枝,均應長期實施測驗,以充分了解學生之體能狀況,並可作課程內容調整及體能常棋修訂之參考依據。

英文摘要

This study is designed to determine the differences in the levels of physical fitness between the male and female students of N.H.L.T.C. of the 1994-95 academic year. Through standard physical-fitness tests and to analyze the physical conditions of freshmen, sophomores,juniors,and seniors. It is hoped that it will be able to be used as reference material in the future when N.H.L.T.C. Compiles athletic curriculum and evaluates teaching performance. Test items were selected and implemented only after taking into consideration the basic physical tests prepared by the ICSPFT and discussiod by the teaching task force. There were 1,262 male and female students that participated. The different test results,after being subjected to statistical analysis, led to the following conclusions: 1.In the area concerning the male students, with the exception that the freshmen were inferior to the sophomores in terms of speed, the freshmen were superior to the sophomores, juniors, and seniors in the other respects of upper limbs'power, and endurance of heart and lungs. Moreover,except for upper limbs'the others reached the noticeable difference of P<.05. 2. In the area concerning the female students,the freshmen's endurance of heart and lungs were better that of sophomores, juniors, and seniors,reaching the noticeable level of P.05.However, the upper limbs'power,abdominal muscles'power and lower limbs'pow er of juniors and seniors were superior to those of freshmen and sophomores, reaching the observable level(P<.O 1). 3. Whetherthe tests were conducted among freshmen,sophomores,juniors, seniors or all the students, male students proved better than female students in all the respects and reached the observable level of P<.01,once again proving that the sex difference of physical fitness did exist. 4. Comparing N.H.L.T.C.'s tests for the freshmen with other colleges'tests for the fresh men showed that its freshmen were slightly inferior to other colleges'freshmen in terms of speed and lower limbs'power. In the respects of upper limbs'power, abdominal muscles'power, and endurance of heart and lungs, however, its freshmen were better than those of other colleges. this study shows that the regular teaching of athletic curriculum is very conducive to the physical fitness of the students. But its effect and scope of growth remains to be further explored. It is suggested that all universities and colleges conduct similar tests on a long-term basis. Thesetests will make it possible to fully understand students'physical conditions and may serves as reference material in adjusting the content of curriculum and in modifying the standards of physical fitness.
